SOCKS5 Proxy Switch does not collect, sell, or share user data.

The extension stores the SOCKS5 host, port, bypass list, enabled state, and UDP leak-prevention preference locally in Chrome storage. These settings stay on the user's device and are not sent to the developer.

When the user clicks the Browser TCP test button, the extension sends one HTTPS request to https://whoip.app/api/me to display the current exit IP. This request is initiated only by the user's action, and whoip.app may receive normal request metadata such as the exit IP address.

The extension does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, remote code, native messaging, or external background services.

扩展会把 SOCKS5 地址、端口、直连列表、启用状态和 UDP 防泄漏偏好保存到 Chrome 本地存储。这些设置只保存在用户设备上，不会发送给开发者。

当用户点击“浏览器 TCP”测试按钮时，扩展会向 https://whoip.app/api/me 发送一次 HTTPS 请求，用来显示当前出口 IP。该请求只会由用户主动触发，whoip.app 可能会收到正常请求元数据，例如出口 IP 地址。
